Privacy, terms and refunds

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Privacy

  • The app collects no data. No account, no telemetry. It has no network access at all (it runs in the macOS sandbox without the network permission), so it cannot send anything anywhere.
  • The app only looks at your screen while a session you started is running. Whatever is visible then ends up in the grid, including notifications or passwords on screen. The grid stays on your Mac until you paste it. What happens to it after you paste it into an AI service is governed by that service's own policy.
  • The app may write a short text log of session events (state changes, shortcut presses) to your Mac's temporary folder, for troubleshooting. It never leaves your Mac.
  • This site runs no analytics and no tracking. It stores one cookie, your language choice. The language is otherwise picked from your browser settings. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, requested URL) for security and operation.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment and billing details, email, country and tax information, and uses them under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). I receive your email, country, the amount, the payment status and the source tag of the link you came from (for example x).
  • After payment the download page asks Stripe whether your checkout session is paid, then hands you a download link that works for 5 minutes. The file is stored with AWS in Frankfurt.
  • Legal bases: the contract (delivering the app, support), a legal obligation (accounting and tax records, kept as long as the law requires) and my legitimate interest (security, preventing abuse). Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
  • Your data goes only to Stripe (payments and tax), Amazon Web Services (hosting and file storage), Cloudflare (DNS) and my accountant (invoices and tax records).
  • You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased (where the law does not require me to keep it), restrict or object to its processing. Email me. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
  • Controller: Typico Games s.r.o., IČ 09960988, DIČ CZ09960988, Chudenická 1059/30, 102 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic. Contact: jakub@schinko.dev.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason. Email jakub@schinko.dev with the email you paid with. The refund goes back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank it can take several days to show up.

This is on top of your statutory rights, which stay untouched. After a refund your license ends, please delete the app.

Terms of sale

  • Seller and licensor: Typico Games s.r.o., IČ 09960988, DIČ CZ09960988, Chudenická 1059/30, 102 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic. Contact: jakub@schinko.dev.
  • You buy a one-time license to use FramePaste. Price: $9 USD, plus VAT or sales tax where applicable. No subscription. Stripe processes the payment and the tax as merchant of record and sends the receipt.
  • The license is for you, on the Macs you own or use for your own work. Do not resell the app, share the download link or redistribute the file.
  • Requirements: macOS 14 or later and the Screen Recording permission. The limits of the app (interval capture, at most 16 frames per grid, images only) are described on the product page.
  • The app is a digital product, delivered by download right after payment.
  • Your statutory rights as a consumer, including for defects of digital content, are not affected. To make a complaint, email me. I will answer within 30 days.
  • Czech law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protection of the country you live in stays in force. Out-of-court dispute resolution is provided by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, adr.coi.cz).
